Here is the tuning for each instrument. Notice the number after the string name. That number is important to avoid breaking strings.
VIOLIN E5 A4 D4 G3
VIOLA A4 D4 G3 C3
CELLO A3 D3 G2 C2
BASS G2 D2 A1 E1 (But it will be G4 D4 A3 E3 if you use harmonics on the blue tape.)
If the note name is not correct, use your musical alphabet.
Up the alphabet is higher pitch. A B C D E F G A B C D E F G - etc.
Down the alphabet is lower pitch. G F E D C B A G F E D C B A - etc.
