Joining orchestra in the 2023-24?
We look forward to having all our new and enthusiastic 6th grade students for the start of school in August!
You do not need to worry about picking an instrument yet! Ms. Neidhold will demonstrate violin, viola, cello, and bass at the beginning of the school year and students are able to choose after the demonstration.
Also, string instruments can be sized just right for your child. Please do not have a local store size your child as Ms. Neidhold's years (and years!) of experience has students sized differently than local stores.

Beginning Orchestra
Mostly 6th grade with some 7th & 8th grade students. Students are not expected to have any experience before starting this class.
Intermediate Orchestra
Mostly 7th grade students with one year of public school orchestra lessons.
Advanced Orchestra
Mostly 8th grade students with two years of public school orchestra lessons.
Golden Strings
This is an eclectic styles ensemble that specializes in jazz, fiddle, and rock. Students are typically in 7th and 8th grade. This orchestra is by audition.
Beginning Orchestra
Mostly 6th grade with some 7th & 8th grade students. Students are not expected to have any experience before starting this class.
Intermediate Orchestra
Mostly 7th grade students with one year of public school orchestra lessons.
