Orchestras at Billinghurst Middle School:
Beginning Orchestra
Mostly 6th grade with some 7th & 8th grade students. Students are not expected to have any experience before starting this class.
Intermediate Orchestra
Mostly 7th grade students with one year of public school orchestra lessons.
Advanced Orchestra
Mostly 8th grade students with two years of public school orchestra lessons.
Golden Strings
This is an eclectic styles ensemble that specializes in jazz, fiddle, and rock. Students are typically in 7th and 8th grade. This orchestra is by audition.
Beginning Orchestra
Mostly 6th grade with some 7th & 8th grade students. Students are not expected to have any experience before starting this class.
