OFFICE 365 HELP - Including TEAMS, WORD, & OUTLOOK
Thank you to Mrs. Rice! I will be updating this information as I get more help.
Help and troubleshooting for students, parents, and teachers for Microsoft Office 365 in order to access Teams, Word, and Outlook (student email).
1. Go to www.washoeschools.net
2. Under Quick Links, click “Office 365 Sign In”
3. Type in your school email. It is your student ID number @washoeschools.org (ORG – not net)
4. Click NEXT. You will automatically be transferred to a screen that says “Authentication Required”
5. Type in your school email again. Student ID number @washoeschools.org
6. Type in your Windows password that you use at school. This is the password used to get into all computers at school. It is also written on page 15 of your tracker in the password section. It is case sensitive.
7. Once you’re in, you should see your home screen that says your first name in a greeting. The apps you have available are below the greeting such as Teams, Outlook (your school email), Word, etc.
8. Open Outlook (your school email) and go through the set up process. It will automatically populate your personal information.

Tips**
- Although Office365 is intended to work in any browser, there is often more success with Google Chrome.
- Be sure others are logged out of their own Microsoft accounts (or switch users) before you try to log in.
- Once students log into Office365, Teams will begin populating in the desktop app version like it does at school.
- Can’t remember your Windows password? Password is not working? Email or call Ms. Carney at Billinghurst – kcarney@washoeschools.net or 775-746-5870. Include your first and last name, your student ID number, and the fact that you need a password change. She will put in your request to I.T. who will reset your password. Mrs. Rice is unable to reset passwords remotely at this time.
