Billinghurst Intermediate Orchestra Field Trip
WCSD Orchestra Festival & Sparks Victorian Theater

This concert is for a grade.
This year the Billinghurst Intermediate Orchestra is going to perform at the WCSD Orchestra Festival at UNR’s Nightingale Concert Hall. We will then celebrate at the Victorian Galaxy Theater with a movie. Our lunch will be pizza at UNR or other location then we will take our charter buses to Sparks to watch a movie in our reserved theater. Snacks at the theater are included. Extra snacks may be purchased before the movie. Our transportation is charter buses with Amador Stage Lines. Parents are invited to attend the concert.
Students are to wear the Billinghurst Performing Arts Uniform including: Black Billinghurst Performing Arts T-Shirt, Black Pants (no leggings, jeggings, sweats, ripped jeans or skirts), Black socks or nylons, all black shoes. Students may not change after the performance.

8:10 Arrive UNR
8:25 Listen to other schools’ performances
10:05 Warm Up
10:30 Performance in Nightingale (parents welcome)
11:30 Lunch
12:15 Load bus and drive to Sparks
1:30 Movie Starts
(The movie will be kept secret until we arrive at the theater. We are watching a PG movie. Parents/Guardians may contact Ms. Neidhold if they have concerns.)
4:00 Load bus back to Billinghurst
4:30 Approximate time back at Billinghurst
REQUIRED REHEARSAL Monday, March 10 after school from 2:15-3:15.
If a student has a conflict, parents must email Mrs. Neidhold by March 3rd. We will celebrate with Doughboy’s Donuts at the end of rehearsal.
Fee is $45
See your Infinite Campus account for payment options. Students may bring payments to the orchestra room also.
Checks made out to Billinghurst Middle School. This amount includes partial payment from Orchestra Fee and Popcorn Fundraiser. The actual cost of this event is $80. Families who need assistance should contact Mrs. Neidhold via email or note.
