Advanced & Concert Orchestras will participate in the McQueen Zone concert and rehearsals. This concert is a wonderful way to bring together students zoned for McQueen including Billinghurst and Clayton.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to come hear our concert at 5:30. This is a very short concert, so please be at McQueen in time for the start of the concert at 5:30.

Concert is at 5:30 p.m. in one of the McQueen Gyms
Dress: Comfortable pants & shoes – Students should wear a Billinghurst Orchestra shirt either concert shirt, play-in shirt, or Golden Strings
No Cost
This is for a performance grade for the 3rd quarter. Conflicts need to be cleared with Ms. Neidhold one or more weeks before the performance or the grade will be a zero. Regular sports practices are not an excuse.
Schedule of events
11:45 – Busses arrive at Billinghurst and Clayton
12:15 – Arrive at McQueen
12:30-1:30 – Combined Middle School Rehearsal in TBD
1:45-2:15 – Eclectic Orchestra Performance
2:15 - Move Equipment to Gym (chairs/stands will be set up with name tags on them for kiddos to find their spot)
2:30-2:45 – Find your “pod”
Predetermined groups by instrument section with 2-3 middle schoolers with 3-4 high school students
seat students in a large orchestra formation
3:00-4:00 – Side-by-Side Rehearsal
I’ll lead the rehearsal
4:00-4:30 – Play games in “pod”
4:30-4:45 – Finish rehearsal and give detailed instructions
4:45-5:15 – Pizza
5:00 – Doors Open
5:30 – Concert
